— Our Story

Droomo (/drōmō/) which means Grace in Ga, one of Ghana’s local languages is a suitable name for this organization as it encapsulates our deeply-seated aspirations – to pass along the grace that we have received and will continue to receive.

This organization was born out of a dream to see hope re-ignited in the hearts of the underprivileged and will not stop until we fulfill this calling…

Our Approach

We solicit, fundraise and donate

  • We write grant proposals:  We write solicited proposals to institutions that provide grants to non-profits. These organizations include governments, for-profit organizations and some bigger non-profits
  • We do some fundraising activities: We occasionally organize events where we fundraise
  • We solicit: Our team in collaboration with our partners solicit for medical, agricultural and educational supplies from institutions that are seeking to donate unused equipment or supplies.

We donate everything we get. This organization is run by a team of passionate volunteers. As a result, none of the proceeds go to administrative costs
